The intersection of Church Street and Carlton Street in Toronto is home to legendary hockey temple Maple Leaf Gardens. It’s also the entryway to the largest LGBTQ neighbourhood in the world. Hence, Church & Carlton is a bi-weekly podcast about the intersection of sports, sexuality, and politics in Toronto and beyond.
Church & Carlton is hosted by E.C. Marcon, a Brampton-bred girl who never quite got over her childhood crush on Mats Sundin. She hopes to bring sports fans and the LGBTQ community together to celebrate the complicated relationship between sports and society – kind of like The Edge of Sports, only gayer and Canadian.
Amazing – I am in awe truly
